Style
You've probably already noticed from our social media photos that novelty cakes with fondant figures aren't our niche. Instead, we create equally Instagram worthy contemporary designs, dedicating a lot of attention to detail, time and skill to achieve the most professional finish.
Often putting our own twist on the latest trends, whether that's drip cakes, chocolate overload cakes, fault line cakes, or beautiful rustic floral decorated cakes, we can promise you a feast for the eyes.
Substance
We should've started with this part, as we're definitely not in the "style over substance" camp! Much the opposite - we're firm believers that cake needs to taste at least as good as it looks! Whether you like simple classic flavours done well, or something a little different to tickle your taste buds, we're sure something on our cake flavour menu (coming soon) will take your fancy.

The essence of every cake we bake is our ingredients - let it be known, we don't scrimp on this part! Always real Scottish butter, never baking spreads (we're also partial to Edinburgh Butter Company cultured butter for some of our recipes)... Always freshly delivered, free-range Perthshire eggs from our local farm - The Egg Shed, at Rotmell Farm... Always professional grade Belgian chocolate from specialist suppliers... Homemade fillings, sauces, and curds where possible, otherwise carefully selected brands or locally produced options...
In the age of Instagram where looks always luck out, we'd love to add a taste and smell button so you can tell just how amazing our cakes are on the inside too!
Pricing
Most of our celebration cakes start from around £90 for a single 6" tier to serve up to 20 finger portions (or approx 12 very large party portions). Fondant iced cakes incur an additional surcharge for ingredients and additional labour costs involved.

All our cakes comprise as standard four layers of freshly-baked sponge, triple filled with buttercream and corresponding sauces or fruit preserves, covered with buttercream/ganache, to sit approx 6" to 7" tall. This may be adapted, depending on your preferred design.
Our cakes are presented on a cake board and packaged in an appropriate cake box with lid, and a card attached with relevant allergen information.

Prices are determined by cake size (number and size of tiers), design, and any additional specific equipment or extras required to complete your order, such as cake charms and toppers, particular fresh or dried floral arrangements etc. Some flavours may incur a small supplement charge due to additional/higher than average ingredient costs.
